Microsoft newest product - Windows MultiPoint Server 2010, is ideally for multiple users that share a single computer simultaneously not by sitting together but having your own mouse, monitor, and keyboard just like using a single machine.
This is Shared Resource Computing (SRC) which utilizes today's computer capabilities to support multiple users at the same times providing reduction in cost and more availability for more users.
This solution would be ideal for educational institutions and even in the corporate world. Microsoft says that this product will be released in the first half of the year.
