What inspired you to launch your own website?

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

1998 A travel web site

How did you decide on a name for your website?

bought it.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It is simply huge and has everything you could be looking for. It is very user friendly.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To make it much better with many other categories including a page for links to charities.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I spend little time on the site but hope to give more in the future.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

The site has never been advertised, so i would advertise it all over the world and have the front page translated into many languages.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes i would give up my job and give it full attention.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Computer crashing and having to re-instal everything, then having to by a new computer to handle the site.

What has been your biggest challenge?

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Just adding the url to free sites.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is more demanding that i thought it would be.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

2 years and i am not sure of the future i may sell for a good price.
