Please give us a short summary of your website?

A site designed to help anyone save $100s of dollars by building their own pc. We sell pc kits that include all of the computer components required to build a computer. We have gaming computer kits, ram upgrade kits, and even kits to help you install a CPU.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Couldn't find a computer hardware retailer that offered real customer service and good pricing. It seemed like it was one or the other.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is the first website I have launched for real - other sites were more template driven.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Similar to Easy as 1, 2, 3. We went with Easy As My PC!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Main differences are focus on DIY kits, clear instructions and diy support while you are working on your upgrade project or while you are assembling you own computer.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I love being in business for myself. Goal would be to make enough money to be able to work for myself.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

My business partner and I put a lot of time and effort into the project, but it's worth it so long as our customers feel like they are getting a good product and great service from us.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Spend more money on getting the word out so more people would know what Easy As My PC is.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes!

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Traffic to the site is hard to get before you get your name out.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding the time to balance life, work and play.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth from exisitng customers.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Not as hard as I thought to run it, it's just a full time job to keep all of the info up to date.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Site has been up for almost a year now. We plan to keep it up for many years to come
