What inspired you to launch your own website?
Worldwide web is the age of the advertising and marketing world. We must keep up with the sign of the times.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Late 80's early 90's Personal website. This is where I met my wife.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Wife and I discussed several options decided on the best for us.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
It's constantly changing as there is always something happening.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I'm happy with the results so far.

I cannot answer as I have never experienced such a delimna.

Yes

Just mainly trying to make sure the code all works as it was designed to do so.

Getting people to leave comments.

My wife's marketing skills

It hasn't
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Only about a week, but I work on it on a daily bases. No problems, getting bigger is what life is all about.

Everyone that is interested in the IT industry and the internet. The site is very informative and will keep you on top of what is happening in the industry.
