Please give us a short summary of your website?
My website is very basic in home computer repair website, and mostly contains information about the services I offer and how to contact me. I did create my own logo trying to stick with my companys color scheme and added it to the site I hope to keep improving it as I go. I will seriously value any suggestions anyone may have for me. Website administration is definitely not my strongest point
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I love fixing computer problems, it is to me what solving crossword puzzles are to some people. The desire to be in the IT field has prompted me to attain a degree in network admin. and PC troubleshooting & repair certification. The problem is that I don't have the on the job experience to get into the I.T. field with a salary that comes close to what I am making at my current Job. I hope this website will allow me to keep my skills honed and allow me to do what I really enjoy while helping people.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
I have been helping co workers, family, and friends with their computer problems for years no charge. I chose Affordable PC Repair because it is simple,honest, and I almost feel guilty about charging for something I enjoy doing anyway.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Im sure my site is less flashy and polished than most of my competetion, I think it is fairly easy to navigate and get what you need from it.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My main Goal is to open a chain of repair shops that turns enough profit to support my family.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far I have not sank a lot of money into the business, but I have spent countless hours making websites, cards, flyers, and trying to advertise on a budget. Not much success yet but I am going to hang in there.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Honestly I would just get some help to polish it up make it look more professional and use the rest for other forms of advertising
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Not without help. I do have a plan in place to get that help if I have to.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Only had to upgrade my power supply tester so far and had to buy some updated cables

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I forgot everything I learned about website admin in school I really thought it would be easier and it would come back to me once I got started
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has been up for two weeks. I can't see me shutting it down for any reason
Does your business limit you to a geographical area?
For now I can only do repairs in the north east Georgia area. I hope to expand in the future
