webservices22 is a website that promotes the services that I offer, which is web hosting, website design, and pc repair and troubleshooting, including virus removal and protection and spyware removal and protection.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I had a few friends and relatives who mentioned to me that they felt like they were being charged way to much for their web sites and changes that they wanted to make to their websites. I started to look into website design, and as it turned out, I already knew enough about website design to help them myself.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I did a website for my uncle about a month ago. The guy he had doing his website had already charged him hundreds of dollars, for a rinky-dink one-page website, with a single link to his email. I designed a new site for him, www.benefits22.com, wich is a site to help people with insurance problems, insurance benefits, and administration of insurance.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted to keep it simple. Webservices22 just seemed to fit.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I think that anyone who visits my site will notice right away that I want to help them promote their business at an affordable price.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I intend to keep it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I believe in ying and yang. What I put in, I will get out.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I am content with how things are going, I do not see how an unlimited budget could really help me.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
No Problem!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Getting noticed on the web has not been easy.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Setting up a wireless network, lol.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Business cards and word of mouth.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I had no expectations......if it works it works.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site has been up for about a month now, and I will keep it going for as long as I am able.
