Beware of some anti-viruses out there as could bring more harm than good to you.
Be always be sure that the one that you were using have the best and most updated virus list available for some anti-viruses only have the delete option( some have quarantine and disinfect option) for those infected files that might important to you or important components of your OS and applications.
